Continuing with the C.O.U.N.T. down to the Great Wall of China Walk, I have downloaded to the file cabinet, the mapped out walk route to accomplish the 1 Million steps (in fact 1,023,022 steps when done).

This is the first of 10x1 Million steps over the next 10 years that we can all look forward to. Hopefully by then, i.e. in year 2018 (just before Malaysia's 2020 vision), we would have completed the whole length of the wall (assuming they don't find more walls over the next few years).

Han Nge has said that he shall do the next 1 Million steps next year when he turns 55. Yeah this feat is for those 55 and above and not more than 65.....what's that song "When I'm 65 (or is it 64)"?

Sorry, Julie, this is not for you. Stay happy and healthy looking after your grand-children......

Started light training last week and managed 79,117 steps. The training ground is the TTDI hills (next to KLGCC) - come join me Mon-Fri mornings.

Still looking for another crazy 50 something to join me on this adventure?

I'm presently on fresh fruits diet every morning, and additionally Livita and/or PowerRoots (with Tongkat Ali) when I play golf in the afternoon. Thus far, working well.

Last week, managed 133,136 steps (including 7,255 at 1Utama looking for my hiking boots). That's about 53KM - making reasonable progress and re-discovering some long forgotten muscles (ankle, fibula, tibia, etc.). Thank goodness for Balinese massage and foot reflexology.

Bought Timberland (Gortex, Vibrant) hiking boots last Friday and this week shall be breaking it in, contouring to my feet, expecting blisters and corns soon.

C.O.U.N.T. - Charity !! Take this opportunity of my effort to look thru your generous hearts and contribute to your favourite charity. Make your pledges - perhaps, 1sen, or 1cent, or 1p, etc. per step?? It's only 1 million steps........

I don't intent on collecting the money from you but am hopeful that you would nonetheless donate to your favourite charity based on my effort .... your "credit" to goodness that will ease our way into the "afterworld". It shall be between you and your almighty. So please donate generously.

Am still without a walking companion ..... any volunteer please.

Six months ago, I walked up 4000 steps up to a temple on a hill in Bangkok. It took me      2 hours and I thought I was going to die.

Chan Wah Long,

4,000 steps would not lead you to heaven. In fact, based on statistics, we have at least another 60,000,000 steps (assuming 20 years, 300 days per year at a healthy 10,000 steps per day) before heaven calls.

Last week, as expected blisters on both ankle sides, and 1st toes of left foot. Had to take 2 days off after they burst, for the callouses to form. Only managed 112,304 steps (44KM).

This week off to the Philippines to brave the typhoons, H1N1 (hopefully get immunised) making footprints on the golf courses.

C.O.U.N.T - Optimism: come on guys and gals - it's thru our Charity that we offer optimism to the less fortunate, destitute to look forward to another day. Please re-look into your heart, at the children, old folks, left at homes "unwanted". Please please make your pledges now.

Still looking for another walking companion.........

Have a good week.
